We Buy Vintage

Velour has been buying and trading vintage since 2011. If you have something worth selling, we're worth talking to.

We pay 30% cash or 50% in store credit of our retail price.

We only buy vintage items. If it was made after the 1990s, it's probably not for us. Send a photo if you're unsure.

Buying happens at the shop on Thursdays only, 10am to 5pm, with exceptions by prior appointment. Fill out the form below with a brief description and up to five photos of your best pieces and we'll respond and go from there.

What we're looking for:

Workwear

  • American workwear — Headlight, Big Mac, Oshkosh, Carhartt, Pay Day, Sears. Chore coats, work shirts, coveralls, and overalls

  • Canvas and wool hunting and field jackets

  • French and Euro bleu de travail work jackets

Denim

  • Denim — 1990s and prior Levi's, Lee, Wrangler, Big Mac, off brands. Jackets and jeans.

Military

  • Cotton and wool field and combat pieces, any branch. Fatigues, jackets, HBT, chambray shirts, utility trousers etc. No formal or officer uniforms.

Western

  • Pearl snaps, leather fringe jackets, cowboy hats etc.

Outerwear

  • Leather cossack and bomber jackets

  • Deerskin and fringe jackets

  • Sukajan and souvenir jackets

  • FFA jackets

  • Heritage outerwear brands

Flannels and Knitwear

  • Wool and cotton flannels — Pendleton, 5 Brothers, Pilgrim, Big Mac

  • Cotton sweatshirts — raglan, reverse weave, crewneck

  • Cotton thermal shirts

Tees

  • Single stitch, screen printed, graphic or blank. Boy Scout, military, camp, athletic, and band tees

Native American and Southwest

  • Jewelry — silver and turquoise. Navajo, Zuni, Hopi.

  • Navajo rugs and blankets

  • Native pattern camp blankets — Beacon and related

Women's Vintage

  • Natural fiber pieces with an Edwardian, bohemian, or 1970s lean. Gunne Sax, prairie, peasant, Victorian calico, corset covers, chemises etc.

Accessories and Goods

  • Early leather goods and belts

  • Cotton bandanas — Elephant Brand and related

  • Work bags, canvas totes, and duffles

  • Quality boots — cowboy, work, military

  • Early canvas sneakers

Textiles

  • Quilts and early American textiles

  • Victorian and antique fabric and garments

A note on condition: We buy working pieces and worn pieces. Honest age and use don't disqualify something. Significant damage might — but on old or rare pieces, it often doesn't. When in doubt, send photos.
