Beautiful antique hand-knotted Persian (Kurdish?) wool pile scatter rug. 19th c. featuring a geometric star design, woven in burgundy, Persian blue, orange and saffron yellow set over a muted field.
CONDITION
One-of-a-kind piece, selected for its character. Threadbare and fading in areas (most notably near top left corner). No noticeable stiffness or staining. Selvedges are fairly worn in places (as shown).
