Extremely rare 1941 British army dispatch rider’s coat worn by armed forces to deliver urgent orders and messages between headquarters and military units during WWII. This version was superseded by the more common 1942 pattern. The British military dispatch riders often used Triumph, Norton, BSA, Matchless and Ariel motorcycles to complete their missions. Both cuffs have some fraying. Two buttons do not match the original. Fraying on button-holes. Does not include liner or canvas belt.
