WWII U.S. ARMY "ETO" FIELD PACK

Rare WWII US Army ETO Field Pack in OD cotton canvas. Unofficially know as the M-1943 Field Pack and larger than its predecessor (the Jungle Pack).

FEATURES

  • zip (Prentice) top flap compartment

  • large main compartment with grommet/drawstring closure

  • horizontal supporting straps

  • metal hardware

  • various auxiliary straps and tabs for gear attachment

  • riveted shoulder straps

  • webbing loops on top flap for holding grass and leaves for camouflage purposes

LABEL READS

No perceivable marks or stencils.

CONDITION

Honest vintage wear consistent with age and use. Some staining/spotting throughout. A few pinholes throughout. Dime sized hole on the bottom. Original hand-repairs. One of the shoulder strap latches appears to have been replaced and a latch on one of the auxiliary equipment strap is broken. As a whole, still perfectly serviceable!
